British Country is on the rise and one act you should be looking out for is Jess and the Bandits. They made their debut in 2015 with 'Here We Go Again' and now their back with 'Smoke and Mirrors', dropping on September 15.

The five-piece band have origins in the US and the UK. Lead singer Jessica Clemmons hails from Texas. The band incorporate various musical styles into their sound. "I'm Not Going Home" and "Sister" have a gospel feel to them. Jessica is a powerful vocalist and has drawn comparisons to former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson.

'Smoke and Mirrors' has elements of pop, country, rock, and gospel. The songs are well written and relatable. It will appeal to fans of The Shires, Sugarland and Lady Antebellum.

Standsouts include the catchy "Kings of Summer" and "Game Changer". The latter being a great ballad that shows of Jess' vocal talents.

I look forward to hearing more from this talented group in the future. Pre-order 'Smoke and Mirrors' at the link below. For all the latest news and tour information, visit their website.
